MILFORD MAYOR RICHETELLI TO THROW OUT THE FIRST PISTACHIO THIS FRIDAY; LOCAL ARTISTS TO PERFORM SPECIAL SONG ‘MILLION THANKS FROM MILLION SNACKS TO TROOPS USA
(December 3, 2009)—Brandford, CT-based Pretzel-Hut, Inc, announced today that it will celebrate the launch of its new Million Snacks™ store in Westfield Connecticut Post Shopping Mall by roasting and shipping over 500 packs of freshly roasted nuts to U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Milford Mayor James L. Richetelli, Jr. will be on hand to inaugurate the event and to formally welcome Million Snacks™ to Milford.
“We’re thrilled the Mayor will join us to throw out the first pistachio,” joked Million Snacks™ Vice President Allen Ciociola, who invited the citizens of Milford and surrounding towns to join in the good will, fun, and roasting at 3.45 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, December 4). Local artists will perform a specially written song for the event—‘A Million Thanks from Million Snacks™ to Our Troops USA.’
The festivities will take place at Million Snacks™ new store, located at the mall’s Food Court.
Launched this July 30th, Million Snacks™ is a unique snack food store, and is now offering franchise opportunities nationwide. To date four stores have opened in Connecticut and one in Arizona.
